Attention all RU students: get prepared to enjoy a week full of engaging activities on campus. A three-day long arts festival and a lively leadership activity will be taking place on campus for students to enjoy.

Clear Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons and attend Reinhardt’s 2nd Annual Contemporary Arts Festival right here in Waleska. Poetry, music and dramatic scenes will be performed all three days by professionals from Chicago, San Francisco and the Netherlands. The festival will also include a talk by Jason Mitcham, a film artist and producer of the The Avett Brothers’ music video,“Head Full of Doubt.” These events will take place all three days from 12 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and the cost is absolutely free. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to enjoy a week full of contemporary greatness. Contact Olivia Kieffer at olk@reinhardt.edu for any questions or further information.

RU ends the week on an exciting note as the Student Activities Council will host “Leadership and Lemonade: Building a Strong Team” on March 17 at 1 p.m. This will be held at the Bannister Glasshouse in the Hasty Student Life Center.  All Reinhardt students are encouraged to participate in this leadership development event to learn new strategies about how to work effectively with others in multiple settings. Refreshments will be provided as Reinhardt’s own Diane Petty, Assistant Professor of Business, presents as the featured speaker of the afternoon. Come out to the Student Center Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. and learn new ways to build team skills and be a leader.
