Halloween 2016

Monster Mash is a Halloween dance affiliated with Reinhardt’s Homecoming festivities. This past Saturday, from 10 p.m. to midnight, faculty and students dressed up in their best costumes.

The party contained an array from extravagant purchased costumes, to creative and innovative homemade ones! Jessie Franczi and Josiah Williams went as Jessie and Woody from Toy Story, and won “Best Couple.”

Makaylah Newall (Wind-up Doll), Michaela Brock (Little Mermaid), Jessie Fanczi (Jessie), Josiah Williams (Woody), Levi Cochran (Pikachu), Mckayla Parmele (70’s Hippie), Jordan Beach (Eeyore), Audrey Woods (Pregnant Zombie).

With the level of commitment for costumes, everyone from that party deserved the title of “best dressed.”

Adrienne Lawrence (Nun), Naomi Williams (Egyptian Goddess), Deborah Dahn (Rasta Man), Emily Haney (Greek Goddess).

Members of the university did a fantastic job of transforming the Glasshouse into a spooky night club. With the assistance of an all night DJ, colorful lights and hypnotic music, the atmosphere was exhilarating.

The lobby outside of the party gave students a chance to converse while hydrating themselves with homemade punch and Halloween snacks.

All in all, the event was a success. If you missed Monster Mash this year, don’t sweat. It’ll be back next year for another round of spook and terror.
